It is easy to replace the window regulator or window clips on the rear window of a 2000 Grand Am. The clips simply snap right onto the rails inside that door that connect to the window.

Have to remove the door panel screws, then remove speaker, drop the cables off the window motor (maybe), drill out the rivets that secure the regulator at bottom and remove two bolts at the top of regulator. push window all way up remove glass from regulator, I used a screwdriver but am sure there must be an easier way to remove the caulk that hold window to regulator. then dats about it..if you need to replace motor same thing drill out the rivets and pull out from right side of door...have fun that project sucked for me..LOL
You probably wont. Chances are, if your window doesn't go up and down right, you have a broken pulley in the window regulator assembly. This is common and requires the replacement of the window regulator.
You need a 3/8 drill bit to drill-out the rivets and then replace the motor that way. It might be easier to replace the whole regulator.
To replace the right front passenger window of a 2007 Saturn Ion, start by removing the interior door panel by unscrewing any visible screws and using a trim tool to detach clips. Once the panel is off, disconnect the power window motor and remove the old window by lowering it fully and taking out the window regulator bolts. Carefully install the new window into the regulator, reattach the motor, and reassemble the door panel, ensuring all connections are secure. Finally, test the window operation before fully securing the door panel.

To replace the right front window glass on a 2001 Cadillac Seville, first, remove the door panel by unscrewing any fasteners and gently prying it off. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove any weather stripping. Next, carefully detach the old glass from the window regulator and remove it from the door. Finally, insert the new glass into the regulator, reassemble the door panel, and reconnect all electrical components.
All you do is take off the door panel remove foam (plastic, rubber) weather guard & disconnect the wires for locks and window... remove speaker. There will be bolts (usually gold) . There are clamps holding the window to the regulator / motor loosen then pull window out through the top of door. When window is free just shimmy the regulator / motor out of the door on the bottom left side (there should be a decent hole to get it through...) once out put new regulator / motor in and place window in new clamps on regulator / motor tighten bolt back together and put panel back on....
