You just have to live with it until your body heals. A pain reliever may help for a bit, stretching will most probably prolong the soreness- depending on the damage-

so dont overdo it again and lift light.

Get someone to give you a long massage, or run a hot bath. Massages are best... You may get more then a massage

get someone to give you a massage or you can heat it with a heating pad or like we do in Kansas with a washcloth
