It all depends on the season. If the weather is to wet the crops will flood and drown. But if the the weather is to dry then the crops will bake up. Overall most of the time Massachusetts has good growing grounds. The best place to grow crops in Massachusetts is in the Connecticut river valley. The land their is known in new England for farming. out here in Massachusetts we like small to medium sized farms. We like to see natural field as well. When a farmer out here farms he generally finds a field and takes a small portion of it. Massachusetts residents like to farm but they also like to see wild field where wildflowers flourish and animals like deer and bobcat prowl. Eastern Massachusetts is not good farming ground but that's only on the coast. The only fruits that will grow on the coast are plums, peaches, and also cranberries. If you do decide to farm in Massachusetts remember to keep your farms small to medium sized. And also choose the right farming area.
