The term "how strong" is meaningless.

Its resistance value will be shown either as coloured bands according to the resistor colour code, as a printed number code, or as a printed part number.

Its power rating will be shown either by its size, or by a printed power rating.

The maximum voltage it can withstand must be determined from manufacturer data sheets.

Diff between weak and strong pull up resistor?

A strong pullup means using small value resistor for pull up whereas a weak pullup means using high value resistor for pulling the signal to Vcc. A strong pullup reduces the RC time constant. Soumen C

How does a variable resistor work in a volume switch?

I asked my father because it didn't know myself. A Variable resistor is i believe a series of Resistant Materials in the Switch box that the power can go through. Whichever is selected that power goes to the bulb. Ex. Weak ---------------------- Strong (Resistant Weak --o------------------ Strong (Bright Light) Weak -------------------o- Strong (Weak, dark light) I hope i am thinking of the right thing. Enjoy

Led circuit for 120 volts?

There can be no answer for this without knowing how strong a resistor is involved. (Ohms)

How do you know if the blower motor resistor is bad?

A malfunctioning blower motor resistor will cause the blower motor not to work. When the resistor is bad the blower motors will not turn on.

What resistor should you use to get 9v to 6v?

You can only use a resistor to drop a voltage at a constant current. If you know the current, use Ohm's law to calculate the resistor value.

What will happen to resistance if you increase the area of the resistor?

How resistor function in producing passiveness in closed circuit?

We know definition of Resistance, that resistor always opposes to flow of current. resistor should have input signals from source , so it generates passivity in circuit

What is the value of resistor do you use in 2.5volts bulb with use 4 batteries with 1.5volts?

If your batteries were in series the total voltage would be 6 volts, and it the bulbs were in series you would need a resistor to keep them from burning out. In order to know how many ohms the resistor would need to be you would have to know the wattage of the bulbs, or the resistance of the bulbs. If you don't know the best thing to do is use a variable resistor. Then you can adjust it or the brightness that you want.

How do you find unknown value of a resistor when total resistor values and voltage are known in a series circuit?

A: If you know the total resistance and total voltage then you know total current flow for the circuit, this current will be same for every resistor in series however the voltage drop will change for each resistor . So measuring the voltage drop across the resistor in question and divide by the total current will give you the resistor value.

Where is the resistor located?

There are many resistors, need to know which one and which vehicle you have.

Can you bypass a key with a chip on a 2001 lumina?

If you know the value of the resistor you can cut the wires going to the lock cylinder and solder in a resistor of the correct value.
