How do you use keyless door locks in your home?

Keyless door locks use a different technology to open your door. You can still use your regular key, or you can use an entry pad to unlock your door. You use a password made of numbers to unlock your door. These options can be found for multiple types of doors, including deadbolts, doorknobs, handles etc. Here is a link to tell you more: http://www.handlesets.com/keyless-entry-door-locks/c3865

How to fix car door locks on a fiesta encore?

You need to tell us what the fault is. If the locks have become difficult to turn with the key (as Ford locks do) then just squirt some Duck Oil (Duck Oil is now a Swarfega brand) into them. A squirt of Duck Oil will also stop your locks from freezing up in the Winter.

What are the application of straight polarity arc welding?

AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current) is used to describe the polarity of the electric current that the welder generates and in what direction it travels. If you use the wrong polarity for a certain welding rod, your weld strength will not be very good. The general terms associated with polarity are reverse polarity and straight polarity. These are common to the welding trade. Another way to describe the two terms are electrode positive and electrode negative. Electrode positive is the same as reverse polarity. Electrode negative is the same as straight polarity. Hence the + and the - written on your welder where the cables connect to it. Any type of welding rod you buy will be labeled as to what polarity should be used for welding with it. Using the correct polarity will ensure the proper penetration and the over all look of the final bead. If you use the wrong polarity you can tell by the signs. There will be an excessive amount of spatter, you will have bad penetration, and you will have less control of your arc. Some welding machines have a switch to adjust the polarity. If your welder doesn't have one you will need to switch the welding cables around where they plug into the machine. If you want reverse polarity, you need to make sure the electrode holder is plugged into the + terminal. The easiest way to tell if you are using the wrong polarity is by the sound and the feel of the weld you are laying down. If you don't have much experience with stick welding you will have a little more trouble determining the difference. I have seen guys weld all day long with the wrong polarity. Then I would grab their welder to use for couple of minutes and I could tell right away. It all comes down to experience.

How can you tell if your new vehicle has keyless remote?

Generally on an F-250, if you have power door locks and a keyless entry door pad on the drivers side door it should be equipped with a keyless entry remote. You can also put the vehicle into program mode by using this procedure: Cycle the ignition from off to on eight times within 10 seconds ending in the run position, if the door locks cycle it is equipped.

When driving do the doors on the 07' maxima automatically lock?

Normally most vehicles with power door locks will have them lock when the vehicle is put into gear. In your owners manual, it will tell you the options of your nissan maxima. Stop by the dealership , talk to the service manager about how your vehicle is supposed to work . You may need repairs to your door locks or they do not have the option of locking.

Is capacitor polarity sensitive?

Some capacitors are polarity sensitive; some are not. It depends on the design. Electrolytic capacitors, for instance, are polarity sensitive, while ceramic disc capacitors are not. You can generally tell, if the capacitor is marked with polarity signs, such as + and -, if it is or not.

Where can you look to find out if your 1997 Tahoe ever had remote control door locks?

Supposedly your Chevrolet service Dept can tell you the answer if you supply them with vehicle ID number Even if you do have them, they don't work anyways. Thought my problem was the battery in the remote, changed it and nothing. Can't figure that one out. Even the side console door lock won't lock or partially locks the front passenger door. We've given up on that one.
