Supposedly your Chevrolet service Dept can tell you the answer if you supply them with vehicle ID number

Even if you do have them, they don't work anyways. Thought my problem was the battery in the remote, changed it and nothing. Can't figure that one out. Even the side console door lock won't lock or partially locks the front passenger door. We've given up on that one.

Remove the tailgate trim panel. Disconnect the remote control rod from the remote control. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Unbolt the latch and remove the remote control. Disconnect the lock knob rod from the remote control and remove the rod. Disconnect the lock cylinder rod from the lock cylinder. Unbolt the remote control and remove it from the liftgate. Remove 2 nuts that hold the outside handle and take it out of the liftgate. Installation is the reverse of the removal steps.

Only way to have the remote entry control programed is to have a dealer program the codes. You cannot do it yourself. Believe me I tried. I recently had my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee programed by a dealer. Cost less than $20.00

turn your key forward, unerneath the steering column there is a plug that isn't plugged into anything there will be 2 prongs in it take a paper clip and touch both prongs and your locks will cycle then you hit lock or unlock on the remote and each additional remote then turn your key off and your locks will cycle again to end the programming mode.and your remotes are programmed.it sounds stupid but that is how the ford dealership showed me so i know its correct
