The human body needs oils to keep do a few important things, such as: keeping the skin from getting to dry, your body's attempt at cooling down your body, or keeping you your hair supple. The list goes on and on about all the natural oils your body produces and how they help you body, but something not to forget is that oils not produced by your body should NOT contact your skin unless you have severe dry skin because your body doesn't need more oils than it already has and produces.
