The Wolf is not an endangered species; there may be wolf populations that are in trouble due to being hunted by humans such as they are in the mainland Unites States; but the species is widespread throughout Canada, Northern Europe and Asia and in no threat of extinction.

Ignore this guys answer wolves ARE an endanered species as i work in a animal aid.
Because they kill sheep. Shepherds, those who own the sheep, have in the last decades been allowed to shoot a wolf if it kills a sheep. This has gone a bit too far, and wolves are almost extinct now.
wolves are soo close to being extinct because they have lucious and beutiful warm coats and they are 200,000 left on the planet, but the Mexican wolf is now protected by law followed by other wolves
