To replace the temperature sensor on a Porsche 944, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Locate the temperature sensor, which is typically found near the thermostat housing or on the cylinder head. Remove the electrical connector and unscrew the old sensor using a suitable socket or wrench. Install the new sensor, reconnect the electrical connector, and reconnect the battery terminal before starting the engine to check for proper operation.
