On a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta VR6, the oil sensor, or oil pressure switch, is typically located near the oil filter, on the engine block. It resembles a small cylindrical component with an electrical connector on top, often colored black or gray. The sensor usually has a threaded base that screws into the engine, and it may have a warning light symbol or markings indicating its function. Always consult the vehicle's service manual for precise location and specifications.
There is no such part as a piston sensor.

I had a 1987 Jetta and the oxygen sensor was connected to the down pipe. It is screwed in and there should be a wire leading from it. From the engine compartment you can look near the firewall and follow the exhaust pipes. It should be sticking out midway between the top and bottom bends.
Mounted somewhere on the exhaust system. It will look similar to a sprak plug. It Amy have more than one.
If you look at the front grill, below the bumper, the small bulb like sensor is snapped into the lower drivers side there.
look at where the headers come off the engine. follow this and there should be a rod like projection sticking out with wires running down from it. that is your O2 sensor.
I work in the glass auto industry and i remove and install rain sensors on many cars and trucks. The reason is most likely because the " gel pack" ( the little soft piece of clear plastic ) between the rain sensor and the windshield is dirty or damaged........my suggestion for you is to have a dealer or a local auto glass shop take a look at the sensor and/or the "gel pack"
it is black, located at throttle plate, on side of throttle body.is held on by screws.
In a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta, the block heater is typically located near the engine block, often on the driver's side. It is a small, cylindrical unit that plugs into an electrical outlet to help warm the engine coolant. You may need to look under the hood to find the cord, which is usually accessible from the front of the vehicle. If your Jetta is not equipped with a block heater, it may not have the necessary installation.
