How many calories should you eat per day if you are 5'1 and weight 150 pounds and are trying to lose weight?

1900 or 2000 the regular amount of calories are 2200 but if you weigh 114 pounds then I think you need less calories in in you like me I try and think to to myself when I'm eating do I really need all these calories when I'm trying to lose weight think of yourself and if your happy with yourself and if self conscious about your weight and size
Hello, I am roughly the same height as you but a bit heavier, I looked into this and you need to eat around 1300 calories a day to lose weight. Hope that helps.
The amount of calories one should consume depends on if he/she is trying to lose, gain or maintain weight. It also depends on how active one is.
1800 to maintain your weight. 1100 to lose 2 lbs per week.
Technically if you are that weight and height, your BMI (Body Mass Index) tells you that you are of normal weight. So if you are like me and still have excess flab, even though you are of normal weight, the best thing to get rid of it is to strength train. Dieting won't make the flab disappear. Strength and cardiovascular training along with a healthy diet of about 1200 calories should do the trick.

i am a current nurseing student studying for my r.n degree and a amature female body builder so heres some inf to help you out the calorie intake for a female whos height is 5'4 /small frame should be aprox 1567 calories if you are trying to maintain your weight and are inactive/or have little or no exercise involved during your daily routines 1808 calories if you are trying to maintain your weight and are modertley active and 2049 calories if you are very active in your daily routines additional note if you want to lose weight keep it on a 12oo calorie diet and get the proper exercise, rest, nutrients and you should look and feel great lose pounds and be fine
You should eat 1500 but its not just how much you eat it is also what you eat. If you have a balanced diet you will find that you lose weight quicker. Having a balanced diet doesn't mean that you cant have a treat now and again.
