Who was the last emperor to rule in India?

Bahadur Shah Zafar was the last Muslim Ruler in India. During the freedom fight against the Britsh (1857 A.D.) the British captures him, They wielded off the heads of two of his sins. Prosecuted and sentenced him to Kala Pani in Sri Lanka where he died. He was buried there. He was a poet. Thus he wrote in his famous poem:

Kitna hay bad naseeb Zafar dafn kay liay

Do gaz zameen bhi na mili kuaay yar main.

(How unfortunate is Zafar, that for his grave,

He didn't get two yards of land in his native country.)

Bahadur Shah Zafar. British seiged took over reigns from him ,exiled him in Rangoon in Burma the present day Mynmar ,where he died.
