The UK is next to the Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantic Ocean has currents that bring in warm air, heating up northern Europe. Canada and Russia are not affected by these currents.
Yes Canada and Russia are much colder than the UK but the reason why is not because it is. The reason why is that usually the northern parts of the world are the coldest except for Antarctica ( of course coldest place in the world). And if you look at a map of the world Russia and Canada are northern then the UK. Mostly what are the coldest placest in the world are Canada, Russia, Sweden, Antarctica , Norway, Iceland and Greenland with Alaska are the coldest place. So there for this is why Canada and Russia are colder than the UK because it is northern and we get more colder weather than the UK. ( I know this because i am Canadian.
Canada is usally much colder because its more north than the US
Greenland gets as low as minus 70 Celsius in the winter that is a very punishing environment usually these temperatures occur a little further north than that of the north ice weather station winds are also very strong in Greenland. Russia can still get very cold down to -68 Celsius on average though Greenland is colder because it lies very close to the north pole the far north of Greenland is 83 degrees north. The north pole can see temperatures as low as -78.5 Celsius. list of the coldest places on earth in order 1. Antarctica 2. north pole 3. Greenland 4. Russia
Canada is about 42% smaller than Russia.
Cooler, actually it can be down right colder both winter and summer. In the winter much darker. The far north of Canada has 6 months of dark and 6 months day.
Canada is closer to the North Pole, which gets much less sun energy and the USA is closer to the Equator which gets maximum energy from the sun.
The Americas are a vast land mass, divided into North and South America. Places in the Americas vary widely in their climate, but generally, North America has colder weather than South America. Within North America, the farther north you go, the colder it can get. Places like Greenland (which is actually not green, its mostly ice/snow) and Alaska have really cold winters with lots of snow. Canada is colder in general versus the United States. Within the United States, the northern states like Minnesota or Vermont are much colder on average than the southern states, like Florida or New Mexico. To sum it up, just pick a place on the map, and chances are that the places north of that are going to be colder, and the places south of it are warmer.
Russia has 5 times the area of Canada do the math Canada has the area of 9,961 287 kilometers
In terms of area, Canada is bigger. However, China's population is much larger than that of Canada.
Mongolia because it is much further north
Russia has alot more Russia has alot more Russia has alot more Russia has alot more Russia has alot more
Mexico would have an overall warmer climate than Canada, because it is closer to the equator.
