Monarch Butterflies typically arrive in Fort Morgan, Colorado, during their migration in the fall, around late September to early October. They travel south from their breeding grounds in Canada and the northern United States to their wintering sites in Mexico. During this time, you can often see them as they pass through the area, seeking food sources and rest stops along the way.
yes
Monarch butterflies migrate to Mexico during the winter months. They leave their wintering grounds in late February to early March.
All over the US. But usually they come from Canada.
It is generational. The butterflies that start the migration at the end of summer/beginning of fall are several generations removed from the ones the come back in the spring.
It's New Mexico....nothing unusual about it. Maybe they come back earlier or leave later.
They arrive in Mexico in late November and leave the 2nd week of March
There is one that we discovered in our house in Caledon Dec 7. maybe it will go into cocoon stage since it found a warm place to hang out.
Butterflies can come in a variety of colors, depending on the species and individual characteristics. Some common colors seen in butterflies include shades of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, and black. The vibrant colors of butterflies often serve as a mechanism for attracting mates or warning predators.
Water, fruit, leaves, fresh air, Grass sunlight or some sort of bright lighting.
N they don't they actually come from chrysalis
A monarch caterpillar will look for milk weed, once it finds one it will eat from it. That's how they get their poison. When they come out of their chrysalis they will fly around and every once in a while land on a milk eed and possibly spend a few minutes to a few hours on it. Monarch butterflies will eat milk weed too.
no god created every thing butterflies are butterflies and moths are moths. You don't have to believe it for it to be true and i know and believe this to be true
