Arabians were promoted after a few people recorded their Arab horses covering long distances. They are built with a small compact body, deep chest and an efficient internal system. Many people were however mislead about the Arabian in the past. In the very old days any horse brought from the Middle East or farther away was called an 'Arabian.' But many were in fact Akhal-Tekes and even better endurance horse which was actually used to help create certain strains of Arabians. There are also other breeds that can do just as well if not better than Arabians in endurance.
Arabians
Arabians :) They are hot blooded which means they have more energy :D
Paso Fino's are a relatively good breed for endurance. Better breeds would be the Akhal-Teke and the Mustang as both of these breeds are more than capable of out performing Arabians if properly conditioned.
Yes, there specialty is Endurance Racing
Thoroughbreds, Standardbreds, Arabians, Paints and Quarter Horses are all used for flat racing on a track designed for the sport. Steeplechasing, hurdling excetera are primarily done by Thoroughbreds. There are also endurance races where Arabians and Mustangs excel, although horses of any breed can participate.
Arabians?
This question is asking opinion. If you were asking which was better for barrel racing and gymkhana, I'd say the Paint, for sure. But for events such as endurance riding, the Arabian is at the top.
All horses can cross breed with each other.
No they are different arabians are from the middle east, and arads are from arabia, I hope i have helped
I read that one breed that has endurance is the dalmatian.
