20 years ago managers were still doing spreadsheets and schedules by hand for the most part. Email was just starting to get used, and there was no video conferencing.

Technology has changed over the years by using many different materials (ex. wood, stone, metal), power of them (ex. from a water wheels to grind grain to machines to gind grain much more). Sometimes the technology has even gotten worse! I can't give you an example of that because I don't know many of them. I hope this helped you.
