Other major countries were also Allied Powers- such as the USA, Russia, and Italy- but none of them were Allied Powers for the entire war (Italy joined 1915-1918, USA 1917-1918, and Russia 1914-1917). Only Britain and France were Allied Powers for the entire war
During World War I, Britain was part of the Allied Powers, primarily joining forces with France, Russia, and later the United States, among others. Other countries that allied with Britain included Italy, Japan, and various nations of the British Empire, such as Canada, Australia, and India.
