Firstly Robert Menzies who became P.M. on the 26th of April 1939 after the death of Lyons who had been the P.M. previously however his political party the UAP was devide causing his resignation. Then came Arthur Fadden who was P.M. for 40 days (from the 28 of August 1941) until two independants who had held the balance of power voted against his budget and he was forced to resign.
