No, pregnancy does not confer emancipation on a minor, nor does it supercede the legal age of majority for the state which is 18. If the situation is creating difficulties in the family home and/or the minor's parents choose not to support her, they or the minor should contact Michigan Department of Human Resources for assistance. Call the local area office or the main office at 517-373-2035 or e-mail dhsweb@michigan.gov or visit the website http://www.michigan.gov/dhs for information and/or help.

Not unless you've been emancipated. No, the legal age of majority is 18. The laws for emancipation of a minor are found in Michigan Statute Chapter 722.4. Early emancipation can be granted a 17 years old if they receive parental or legal guardian permission to marry or enlist in the military. The other exception pertains to juveniles who are in a correctional institution. no where in the U.S can any child under the age of 18 move out without the parents permission If your parents give you permission, yes, you can move out at 16. Otherwise you have to be the age of majority, 18. Until then, your parents are responsible for your upkeep and welfare.

Not legally. You have to have your parents permission to move out until you reach the age of 18. you can but personally i think that is stupid he might not be able to support you and the baby and you can't work while your pregnant. no one will hire you because they don't want someone to work for a short time until they have the baby. when you have the baby you will have to stay home with it until it is at lease 4 months
