If your marriage has been pretty solid then you shouldn't be worried. Be smart and ask him to invite her over for dinner. 'Get to know your enemy'. By seeing them both in the same place at the same time you'll know one way or the other if they are at least interested in each other as far as starting up a relationship. Perhaps she's a lovely person and your husband and her are not having an affair and just talking over old times. I once bumped into an old ex and had coffee with him. We just laughed and went over old times and laughed some more, but I was married and he was engaged and there was nothing between us. My husband and I still keep in contact with him and his new wife of 3 years. If you feel you and your husband are growing apart then it's time to learn how to communicate and sit down with your husband and talk calmly and ask him why he has this need to talk to his ex. Be careful, and don't make a fool of yourself. It could simply be friendship and nothing more.
