It depends where you are in Canada, but the country is located more slightly northern then the US. If you are in the northern territories or northern Quebec, it can get to -55 with over 100 km winds and worse, up there you see more then six months of just ice and snow and but 2 or 3 without. but throughout the praries and east and west coasts and central, there are all the four seasons. Over the summer it can get quite hot as well, it really depends on global warming, but overal Canada is colder and known to be.

Hope this helps! :)

Well if we're talking about "average" or overall climate Canada would have a colder climate, because of the great differences in climate among US states (ex. Florida, California, Texas vs. Minnesota (which is usually colder than most of populated Canada), Wisconsin, Alaska (way colder), etc).

Canada can get very very hot though in the spring, summer, and early fall months, depending on where you live. Areas such as the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) can get up to 48 degrees Celsius (118.4 Fahrenheit) in the summer. That's a pretty hot even in US states like California (LA and San Diego anyway) and Florida. I can account for this heat because I used to live in a city called Mississauga, near Toronto, and was out in a parade in July and the 'thermometer' screen on the library we passed said 48 degrees. I'm pretty sure it's been even hotter before too.

Is Canada colder than the Amazon?

Technically Russia and Canada border in the Arctic, but Canada has the North Pole so maybe Canada. But realistically, these are the two largest countries in the world so it's rather difficult to make a general statement that one is colder then the other. There are parts of Canada that are colder then parts of Russia and there are parts of Russia that are colder then Canada. But then the same can be said about parts of the USA being colder then parts of Canada (and I'm not just talking about Alaska). Like some places in the northern part of the US is colder than the Southern parts of Canada. But really Canada is colder than USA overall.

What is the climate all year in Canada?

Canada and Russia are much colder than the UK why is this?

Yes Canada and Russia are much colder than the UK but the reason why is not because it is. The reason why is that usually the northern parts of the world are the coldest except for Antarctica ( of course coldest place in the world). And if you look at a map of the world Russia and Canada are northern then the UK. Mostly what are the coldest placest in the world are Canada, Russia, Sweden, Antarctica , Norway, Iceland and Greenland with Alaska are the coldest place. So there for this is why Canada and Russia are colder than the UK because it is northern and we get more colder weather than the UK. ( I know this because i am Canadian.
