The Warner Family of England from 1635 to 1374, of Essex, Norfolk, Sussex and Surrey, are the English Warners that are known as the Whetnall-Warner House, due to the lineage divided in 1374 by the legal adoption of Thomas Whetenhale (aka Whetenhall, Whetenall, Whetnal, Wettenhale), son of Sir James Whetenhale, Knt. of Cheshire. Who was adopted under a living Will & Testament of Sir John Warner, Esq. of Besthorpe, Norfolk (aka John Warenne or Warren), which under Royal License took-on the Warner surname.
