Yes you can! I've gone to Weight Watcher's off and on and lost my weight. I also saw on TV about a book called "Fiber 35 Diet" by Brenda Watts. Most people are over-weight and gain weight around their middle (stomach included) because they don't eat enough fiber, but think they are. It was an interesting program. You could follow this diet as well as the Weight Watchers because Weight Watchers is about learning to eat proper portions and not about taking food away from you (that's what is so great about it.) Remember to drink those 8 - 8 ounces glasses of water every day and follow the diet. Exercise is also important. If you can't afford to go to a gym then go fast walking, swimming or get an exercise tape to do at home. Just keep moving! Good luck
