If it is xm ready radio, then all you have to do is pay the monthly fee. You already have an xm radio and need nothing. Read you owner's manual. If you buy the xm radio from the dealer it will cost about $750.00 It is prewired for the 12 volt system of the Honda. The roady 2 radio you buy at wall-mart or elsewhere is set up with a 6 volt system. I bought my roady 2 at fry,s and fry,s instlled it for around $80.00. did a very nice job on installing it. The antenna was installed outside like roady suggested and hard wired the radio to the frount lighter using the 6 volt adaptor that the roady came with and wired it to the 12 volt system. Roady 2 has a sell right now, that if you buy one Roady 2 one can send off for a second one free.

I just changed mine, you have to take the screws out of the pieces below the radio so you can get to some more screws which are located on a bracket beneath the radio! The radio will slide out with the bracket attached! Not a 5 minute job!

I'm able to pull mine out by putting my fingers in the small compartment below the radio and my thumb on the top edge of the radio and pulling out from the dashboard. The radio is attached to the storage compartment with the antennae plugged into the back. Be carefull not to damage seal around radio when reinstalling.
To remove the original cassette player from a 2001 Honda Civic loosen all of the mounting screws to the center console. Remove the screws and any clips. Pull of the center console to reach the bracket for the radio. Remove the mounting screws off of the bracket. Pull out and disconnect the radio.
