How do you fix Brake lights on an 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue when do not work.?

Several conditions can cause the brake warning light to stay on: 1) Your parking brake could be on or at least the position sensor could be sending a signal that the parking brake is on. 2) there could be a hydraulic pressure imbalance between the front and rear of the master cylinder when the brakes are aplied. 3) The ABS system (if installed) is sensing a faulty ABS condition.

∙ 8y agoUsing a philipshead screwdriver, unscrew the bottom 2 screws. Then gently pull the lighting assembly out. Each bulb can be released by turning the connector, which can be tight. Then pull the bulb out of the connector and replace.
