How do you remove the factory radio from a 1995 Chevy Corsica?

The first thing you need to do is remove the four screws that hod the trim around the radio/ gauges. Once removed, unplug connectors on the back of light switches and remove trim. The radio will have a lot of screws that hold the radio/heater control. Remove them all until the radio comes out. You can get a block off kit either from auto zone or wall mart for a pretty cheap price. Next follow the wire down to a large silver box under the dash. Unplug and remove the box. Keep the wires in case you want to wire in an after market radio. The kit also includes an after market stereo mount. Wire a quick connect harness to your stereo and it will plug into the wires you removed from the silver box under the dash. These wires may need to be untangled a bit to reach to the new stereo.

you have to fitst remove the dash.then open the glove box. there is a bolt that is holding the right side on remove that and remove the driver side fuse cover and theres another bolt holding it on remove that. then there are two bolt above the pedals below the steering wheel remove. then the dash will come off. then you just unscrew the radio out of the center and pull the adapter out of the back

To remove the stock radio you need to remove the 2 screws holding your panel with the trunk release button, they should be towards the top (closest to steering wheel) on far left and far right, Once that's dropped Lower your steering wheel to the lowest position, Slip your fingers in behind the black Trim that surrounds gauges and radio. Give it a tug there should be 9 snap in clips holding it there... 2 on the far right, 2 just to the left of the Temp/blower knobs, 2 under the Speedometer cluster (1 on each side of the steering column)1 just right of the headlight knob 1 under the compartment, and one above the left vent. Once theyre released removing it is rather awkward but pull on the left side a little until you get the compartment out of the seat in the dash, then pull the trim upwards and away from the steering wheel. all that's left is 2-4 bolts holding your radio in place

Use a flathead screwdriver to take off the black plastic dash panel that surrounds the stereo and ac. After you get that off then use a socket wrench and unbolt the stock stereo and you'll have it out.

This is pretty easy. You pull the trim around the outside of the dash assembly back toward the driver (ours is wood-grain trim, and you may need to set the steering wheel height at its lowest setting). Pull gently but steadily, and the series of clips around the edges will pop out. The radio will now be exposed, and if you look closely on each side, you will see two clips that you can push down on, on each side of the stereo, and it will slide right out. Don't pull it out too far, because you'll need to detach the cables and antenna, before it will come free.
