The fuse blows because the current through it exceeds the rated current limit of the fuse.
To remove preset radio stations on the Aiwa CSD-ED76 portable player, first turn on the radio function. Then, select the preset station you want to delete. The 1997 Chrysler Sebring radio amplifier does have an in-line fuse. The in-line fuse will be in the radio wiring harness.

By any chance have your battery cables been off ? If so , all the radio preset channels have to be reprogrammed

I just took my 97 sebring convertable in for no turn signals, wipers, rear defroster and radio. They replaced the ignition switch and now everthing works.
