yes sounds like a wheelbearing get it checked before it tears up your spindle

I have a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with a 4.0 litre six cylinder and 4x4 transmission. It has died on me several times while driving but was only a fuse on the passenger side under the hood. It was located in the section that says TRANS. When I replaced the fuse it started right up.
When it ran low the input shaft bearing went dry and started to fail, the noise will get worse and in other gears too, *( except 4th ) You will need to have that bearing replaced, the rebuild kit is about $200

If you need more info, its a 2000 Accord coupe ex-l 4 cyl. It just started at about 95k miles.
Perhaps a pebble got stuck in either cv joint or in behind brake caliper

Wheel bearings it sounds like.You should go and have the alignment checked, have them check the bearings also. Some vehicles have greas-able bearings, other vehicles, you have to have the whole bearing replaced. Thanks for your help. I just had it looked at and it was bad tires. Glad that it was a simple fix!
