You can find a color code for radio wires on a 96 Toyota Corolla in the owner's manual. You can contact the manufacturer to order a replacement manual if needed.
You need to go to a sound shop and buy an adapter that will allow your radio to be plugged into the car's wiring harness. You will also need to ask them which ground wire to cut, so you don't blow out the dimmer switch for your dash lights.
speaker is black-, blue with brownish stripe + on power connector their are 4 wires ,2 of them are black,1 green, last is black with green stripe
do not cut the wires. buy plug .
Go to a good dealer, they'll sell you the appropriate adapter to plug the radio right in w/o any messing about with cable splices.
The difference is the telegraph required wires; the radio did not. But other then that, they were mostly the same.
In my 2000 Toyota Corolla CE fuse for the radio is located at the back side of the radio, you need to pull out the radio and you will see the fuse on the back side of it between wires
To remove the radio in a 1995 Toyota Corolla, first pry the radio frame from the dashboard using a flat tool like a screwdriver. Then, press in on the pins at each side of the radio and slide it out of the dashboard. Remove the wires from the back of the radio.
Disconnect the neg battery cable then take the bolts and wires loose from the back of the radio under the dash. Then pull the knobs off and remove the nuts there and work the radio out of the back of the dash.

Usually the aftermarket radio you put in needs a wiring harness you can buy at most audio stores and big electronic stores like Best Buy. The back of the package will tell you which wires connect by color. Remember, solder is the best tool for connecting wires but usually permanent.

One reason why fuel and temperature gauges would stop working on a 1992 Toyota Corolla would be a short in the wires. This would lead to a blown fuse. Check the fuse and replace it.
Pretty sure they make an adapter for such a case. Check with store you got your New CD-Radio.
yes. I do not know the Corolla exactly, but most assemblies screw or snap out and the wires are connected with a connector that can be disconnected without cutting any wires. Take your time and do not break anything. Good Luck.
