Type in 'science' at www.wikipedia.org and you will see there are many branches of science. However, if you wanted to break into two categories there are the 'hard' sciences (biology, chemistry, physics) and the 'soft' sciences (sociology, economics, psychology). You can another category sometimes referred to as 'formal' science which consists of math, statistics, and logic.
