Hi there,

It all depends on what age you start your degree. I went straight from high school into university and will complete my degree this year. I will be 20 years old and working as an RN in Australia. Most RN degrees are 3 years, some are 4. However there are plenty of Enrolled Nurses that do the short 2 year course that is available at most universities that will enable you to become registered. You are never too old :)

Hope that helps,

Nurse Ann

Who is Juliet's confidante?

well, the confidant of Juliet would be the nurse. because she secretly assisted Juliet in communication between the two main characters, (keeping it a secret from the parents of Juliet), Juliet even asked romeo to marry her through the nurse. :) , oh and if you want to know who romeos is its either: Mercutio, his cousin (i don't recall the name), or father Laurence who is the most likely.

Can nurse be trusted not to tell Juliets parents?

The nurse never told the Capulets anything about Juliet's marriage to Romeo. There is a certain amount of self-interest in this; the nurse was Juliet's duenna, and part of her job was keeping strange men out of Juliet's bed. The Capulets would not be very happy with her if they found that she had actually conspired to get Juliet hooked up with a guy. She would be fired or worse.

Why is Juliet annoyed at the beginning of scene 5!?

Because the nurse is taking too long to respond/return with romeos answer.

What is the nurse's advice to Juliet and how does Juliet's opinion of the nurse change as a result?

The nurse tells Juliet to "get on with her life" so -to-say. The nurse recommended that Juliet get married to Paris since Romeo had been banished from Verona, and that Juliet would never see him again, so she should move on and forget about him. Juliet's opinion of the nurse changed because she thought that the nurse was on her side, and wanted Juliet to be with romeo, so she felt somewhat "betrayed" when the nurse said this. By saying that it is alright to marry Paris, the nurse is saying that Juliet is not really married to Romeo, that their wedding was a sham and their wedding night a roll in the hay. To Juliet, who considers herself to be Romeo's wife, this is an outrage.

Should you get your associates in nursing before the bachelor's degree?

Well if you know that you want to go ahead and get your bachelors in nursing there is no need to obtain your associates because you will still go through the same program and classes. It would just basically be an extension of classes from your associates. So If you want a bachelors in nursing, enroll in the bachelors nursing program, not the associates.

Are registered nurses the same as nurses?

A registered nurse is the basic level attained after graduating from a certified Associates or Bachelors nursing program. This means that the registered nurse has not yet specified if he or she would like to enter a specialized field in nursing. A pediatric nurse is a registered nurse trained in the care of newborns and children. It is a specialized field that a registered nurse must first train on before he or she is able to work in that specific area.

Is a certified nurses aid a licensed nurse?

No, a registered nurse can do the duties of any version of nursing training below their license level. So a registered nurse should know the abilities and skills required to be a CNA. The one difference is a registered nurse would be required to be more responsible by the Board of Nursing to be aware of any problems or changes than the CNA would be required (due to CNA's lack of training and the fact that ultimately the registered nurse is the one responsible for a CNA's actions if they are in charge of them). So for example, if you miss the fact that your patient is choking to death, a CNA would be less liable than that of a registered nurse due to the RN having the higher training.

On average, what is a nurses salary?

Whats the difference between an RN degree and a nursing degree?

You do not get a RN (Registered Nurse) degree. To become a RN you earn an associate degree in nursing then take the state nursing exam. If you pass you are then a RN. You can also get a 4 year degree in nursing, which will make you even more marketable. Then, you would be an RN with a BSN. You still have to take the state nursing exam.
