The Man Who (Thought He) Looked Like Robert Taylor was written by Bienvenido Santos and published in 1983. The book is about a man who was born in the Philippines and moved to the United States, stetting up home in Chicago. He lived in an area where there were a lot of Polish immigrants, but he felt lonely and isolated. After 30 years in Chicago, he decided to head to Washington DC to search for some people he knew. He met other Filipinos along the way, but they made him feel even more inferior because they seemed smarter and better educated. He just couldn't find a place to fit in. There are various other summaries and descriptions of the book that can be found online.
I thought that too, so I looked up this question. They do look alike.
Meg wrote this series because after her father died she thought she would see him out of the corner of her eye, and one day her brother looked at her and said, "Your not going to write a book about this are you?" And she did; result, the Mediator series. My source was Wikipedia.
Her name is Cleo King. I thought she looked familiar -- she played one of the cops on the movie "The Hangover!" You know, the "not up in here!" scene and the one where they let the kids use the taser on the guys.
It seems that Lesley Ann Warren does not have a daughter, but I think I know why you might think she does, because I've just seen an episode of "How I met Your Mother" (season 3, episode 7: "Dowisetrepla"), starring April Bowlby. I didn't recognize her at first and then thought that I knew her face from somewhere. And before I realized that it was April Bowlby, I thought she looked as if she was the daughter of Lesley Ann Warren, which she apparently isn't. Say what you will, but I think they look incredibly similar.
No sooner met but they looked, No sooner looked but they loved, No sooner loved but they sighed, No sooner sighed but they asked one another the reason, No sooner the reason but they sought the remedy, And in these degrees they made a pair of stairs to marriage. Shakespeare, As you Like it
I've looked around a bit and haven't been able to find anything, but my guess is that there is a man who is under the impression that he looks like Robert Taylor.
He thought that they looked like cells in which monks lived in.

Robert Hooke used a compound light microscope to find cells. He found cells looking at cork and thought that they looked like cells.
Huck thought the king looked foolish and ridiculous in his new clothes. He believed that the king's attempt at sophistication and grandeur only made him seem more laughable and delusional.

While Robert Hooke was observing cells through the microscope, he thought the cells looked like prison cells, and that's where the idea came from.
