destiny is not made up but it is not always about two people in love. it could be "your destiny to be in the Olympics" or something. ---- It is certainly possible for two people to feel that way. It is natural for members of our species to seek reasons for things and look for patterns. And it is very common for people who are strongly attracted to one another to feel that there is a certain rightness and even inevitability to their finding one another. I would not devalue the sincerity of the emotion one bit, but I would recognize it as an emotion. What do you suppose a researcher would learn if he or she studied a thousand couples who had that feeling and then tracked whether their relationships lasted? Do you think that a few or perhaps even many couples who later broke up might have had a similar feeling in the beginning? I am not sure what kind of destiny changes its mind. Which do you think is more likely, that people have a feeling about destiny and being "meant to be" as part of the emotional experience that occurs when they are deeply attracted to someone or that some infinite cosmic personality or impersonality busies itself by engineering individual pathways so that natural partners will stay separate all their lives and then suddenly meet? You can believe what you like, but as for me, I would not attempt to base any conclusions about reality on a subjective experience of this kind.
Believing in destiny or fate is a personal choice. Some people find comfort in the idea that certain events are predestined, while others attribute meeting someone to chance, circumstances, or personal choices. Ultimately, whether two people are meant to meet or not is subjective and can vary based on individual beliefs.
Mostly because they want to seem like nice girl in front of some people When you meant 'some people' I assumed you meant popular kids. If so, then it is natural because these people are assumed to have a certain standard and this occurs in the subconcious in your brain. Just like you tend to act more respectful to a teacher or employee acted nicer to their boss. Is because the receiving end has a certain standard to please. In social aspect, although there are no specific standards, popular kids are seen to have standard and some people trying to be on their good side try to remain in that standard.
People say "just kidding" to signal that their previous statement was meant in jest or as a joke, and not to be taken seriously. It helps to clarify that the intent was not to offend or hurt anyone's feelings.
People were locked in asylums due to the prevailing belief at the time that mental illness was untreatable and individuals needed to be confined for their own safety and the safety of society. This approach was meant to isolate and control those deemed "insane" or "mentally ill."
They were meant to get people to think a certain way. They could get people to dislike an ethnic group or even get the people to vote a certain way.
Yes, but it will also depend on what it is you have done and its consequences. You are not meant to kill people, so if you have done that, then that is very bad, the most extreme thing. More likely it is something far less serious you have done, but if you were not meant to have done it then that can be bad.

if two people are truly meant to be together then they will end up together because it all part of a divine plan that we can not understand right now. If they are not meant to be together they will not end up together even though you may think they were supposed to be together it is not the divine plan and there is something or someone better in store for those people.
People believed that the United States was meant to grow in size.
not neccecarily, because if you did do that your destiny might just be that you wont have a hubby.
Judas Priest did "Sad Wings of Destiny". Is that what you meant?.
the manifest destiny was a belief saying that it was the right and duty for us to spread across the North American Continent, so the positive impact would be that the manifest destiny meant that we needed more land for more opportunities, and more land meant more money, which showed how destiny was involved as the people of America made more money by having more land, which we have today!hope this helped ;)
