This sort of behavior generally happens in Elementary School because boys and girls are too young to know anything about love, but only know they really like another boy or girl. In High School some young men/women may be shy and not playing games at all and then there are those young people that simply thing they are the best thing since sliced bread and want to fool around with one person after the other.
AnswerWell after reading your question just now I asked my boyfriend what he would do. He said that if we weren't dating then yes he would like it if I ignored him because it would give him more of a challenge. But now that we have been dating for about a year and a half he says he would like me to talk to him because he always wants to try and make everything better.AnswerPlaying head games with boys is generally not a good idea. One of the biggest things men don't like about women is when they are not straightforward about their feelings, and play psychological games. If he were to find out that you are just pretending to be mad, it will probably make him mad, and he'll think you are pathetic. Either that, or he'll think you're just way more trouble than you're worth. Even if he doesn't find out, it is by no means guaranteed that he will like you more. He may get discouraged and give up.
Most people start playing mind games with others during their teenage years, as they become more socially aware and seek to navigate relationships and power dynamics. As people mature and gain emotional intelligence, they tend to move away from playing mind games and focus on building genuine connections based on trust and honesty.
If you are referring to manipulation, we begin it as soon as we are born. It is a normal human trait which, like many others, can be developed to an unacceptable degree with the wrong stimuli.
It's difficult to determine the first person to cheat as dishonesty has likely existed since the beginning of human history. Cheating can take many forms and has been observed in various contexts, from relationships to games to academic settings.
don't play their games. spiteful people constantly play games and think that you are playing games when your not. Which means that whenever you're happy and upbeat the act very negative and/or mean because they believe that you're happy because you have done something or going to do something to get them back for whatever game they have played unknowingly to you. this is what you do: When they do something spiteful, acknowledge it, let them know that you don't like it and ask them why they did it. they will try to lie about it or bring up something you did that they thought was a "game" that you were playing. When you acknowledge it to them directly it takes away the power from them, and from it hurting you. They will soon realize that you are not playing games or deliberately trying to hurt them or get them back. They will also realize that you will not play the spiteful games with them and you will not put up with it.

You risk it. If you are sure the other person feels the same. Just walk up to him/her when you are alone, and tell them that you don't want to play games anymore, and how you feel about them. Tell them that their pretending not to love you is hurting you.
