God is portrayed usually as either a voice, bright light, or even a burning bush or giant hand. All in all, God does not appear as an actual person, nor necessarily have a gender. However, it is most commonly believed that God is a male, dressed in white robes and dons a white beard - for whatever reason.
How is the nature of God in Judaism different from God in Christianity
Because Jesus Christ on which Christianity is based is the Son of God/God.
There is only One God in Christianity, Judaism and Islam.
In Mark's Gospel, the focus was on Jesus, with very little reason to portray God. However, Mark did portray God in the passages on the baptism of Jesus and the transfiguration. In Mark 1:11, there came a voice out of heaven, saying Thou art my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. In Mark 9:7, a cloud overshadowed the disciples and a voice came out of the cloud. So, when Mark had to portray God, it was as a voice out of heaven or out of a cloud.
In Christianity there is a Trinity. That is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
"The Lord is my shepherd"
Christianity has only one God called God.
God. It's called Christianity because it's about God's son, Jesus Christ.
AnswerChristians believe that Jesus was sent by God to found Christianity.
Actually, Christianity becomes meaningless if Jesus is NOT God. If Jesus wasn't God, then he couldn't have risen from the dead or saved all the people from their sins. If that didn't happen Christianity is meaningless. If Jesus was not both God and man, then Christianity is meaningless
Christianity is holy as god is holy and we are his children.
In words. Judaism doesn't permit attempts to portray God in images.
