The biggest camps had about 16,000 inmates at any one time. As people were worked to death they were replaced by new arrivals. At the extermination camps, such as Treblinka II and the Birkenau section of Auschwitz, most newly arrived Jews were gassed as quickly as possible after arrival. From about mid to late 1944 onwards many prisoners were moved from the camps in Poland to camps in Germany itself, which then experienced a huge increase in numbers.
so many people died because of the concentration camps and also the blits and war it self!xxx hope this helps:)
just on the burma-thailand railway sight over ,13,000 people died for the others no one knows
Over 10,000 people were in the camps and about 95% of those people died in the camps. Not only were people in the camps inflicted with experimentation, so were people in nearby cities who were subject to bubonic plague bombs and the such. The Japanese also intended for some bombs to reach over America, though none actually succeeded in infecting anyone. All in all, approximately 10,000 people died despite the Japanese claim of only 3,000.
The holocaust was a time when the German notices took the Jews and put them in camps. The leader of these people was Hitler. He killed many people during this. Mainly the Jew's. Many of them died from sickness, were hung, or gassed.
In addition to the Jews, many Gypsies were killed. The Nazis also sent homosexuals, communists, pacifists and Jehovah's Witnesses to the concentration camps. They also killed handicapped people and later in the war some Allied PoWs and Catholic priests also ended up in the camps. Russian PoWs weren't generally sent to concentration camps but had camps separate to Allied PoWs and were very poorly treated and died in their thousands in captivity. Many of the people subjugated by the Nazis weren't sent to concentration camps but were rounded up to work in labour camps attached to German factories, and again, conditions in these camps and at the work-sites were atrocious so many slave workers died. These included Poles, Czechs and French.

The total number of Jews killed by the Nazis was about 6 million. Just over half of these died in extermination and concetration camps. The others were killed in mass open air shootings or perished from starvation and disease in ghettos.
Counting the soldiers and people executed in the concentration camps 70,000,000.
Russians killed and mutilated approximately 80 million people, half of them at prison camps and disciplinary battalions.
About 75,000 Jews from Slovakia or 83 percent of the estimated Jewish population were annihilated.
Often, they were crammed into cattle cars for trains, with no water or food, and a small bucket to use the bathroom. Many died on the way to the camps.
