Sporting Arms Mfg. Littlefield TX & their phone number has been disconnected The Snake Charmer in 410 & stainless steel only is being currently (2010) manufactured by EAA. You can find the at Ellett Bro or RSR if you are a dealer.
Parts for these shotguns are hard to find. EAA Corp carries parts for Baikal shotguns. A good gunsmith might also be able to help make some parts.
You could try Gun Parts Corporation.
You can find parts for many westernfield shotguns at Numrich gun parts. WWW.e-gunparts.com
The Sears 200 series = Winchester 1200. Parts should be available from e-gunparts.com if you can't find them locally.
You'll probably have to find a gunsmith who can make your parts. Shotguns marked Baker Gun Co were made in Belgium or by Crescent Fire Arms, Meriden, CT, for H & D Folsom in the early 20th Century.
Sears 200 series = Winchester 1200. Parts should be available from e-gunparts.com if you can't find them locally.
My cross reference list indicates that this is a Savage 59. If your local gunsmith can't find the parts, you can check with www.e-gunparts.com
No, the snakes can not respond to the music because they are deaf! Snakes lack the outer ear that would enable them to hear the music. Instead, they are watching the person and the flute move back and forth. They consider the person and flute to be a threat and watch or respond to it like a predator. It may look like they dance...But they don't they actually hate it, while at the same time it confuses them and clears their head so that's why they don't go after people when it's on! ANSWER PART~ They move their body in the dancing formation because when their mad the music screws their thought up and they just "dance".Snakes will be able to sense sound, but no snake has ears. They follow an object that the "snake charmer" has with their heads. The snakes are almost always de- fanged, which is very painful and cruel for the animal and leads to a painful death.Snakes follow the movements of the Snake Charmers flutes. Which is why they always keep them moving in a fluent motion.
This shotgun was probably made by Crescent, so your local gunsmith can probably find one in his parts pile. Or, if there are no missing pieces, he can repair yours.
