Why is Osama Bin Laden referred to as a bad person?

Because he was a leader of a terrist group who killed many people with the bombing of the world trade center, many plane bombings, destruction of the twin towers in the US and a failed attempt on a plane crash on the whitehouse, they also drove a plain into the pentigon in the US and he also started a mass war in Iraq and Iran and AFGANISTAN

His actions were bad in that he created a lifestyle where he directed terrorist events from a point of safety, involving thousands of people worldwide. His wealth and intellect apparently were focused on that for many years--even expecting his children to participate in the bombings. With his passing, his legacy of harming people will continue for many years as followers try to emulate his teachings. Finally, he is considered bad, or evil, for bringing hateful actions to so many people using Islamic beliefs out of context of the Quran.
