Can sprinting spikes be used for long jump and short distance running?

I do long jump, triple jump, and 100m and they work great. But it depends what you consider short distance. work for everything 400m and under. it has no padding on the heel so jumping with sprinting spikes can cause injury.

How do you run 400meters without having your legs tighten up at the last 100m of the race?

Jogging it. But to run a good and efficient race your legs will have acid no matter what. So you will need to train harder to get your legs use to it.

What is the benefits on adoption?

There are many benefits to adoption.

First for the biological parents they know that their child is safe and will be raised in a stable environment that they alone couldn't provide.

Most adoptive parents (the ones adopting the child) can not have children of their own and adopting allows them to raise and love a child like their own. Also the adoptive parents may be able to have a mixed family that is one that has a combination of biological and adopted children.

The child that is adopted gets many benefits, one of which is being raised in a loving home. If the child was adopted in an open adoption they may be able to keep in contact with their biological family.

A benefit I have experienced as an adopted child is that I get to share my experience and memory of being adopted with other adopted kids.

If the 400 meter world record is 46.72 seconds how fast would you have to run to beat it and how do you work that equation out?

1) 400 meters is 40%, or 2/5, of a kilometer.

2) Multiplying the time (46.72) and distance (400 meters) by 2.5 would get you the answer of how long it would take to run a kilometer at that pace (400 * 2.5 = 1000 meters and 46.72 * 2.5 = 116.8 seconds).

3) There are 3600 seconds in an hour.

4) By dividing 116.8 seconds, the time it would take to run one kilometer at the specified pace, into 3600 seconds you will get the speed in kilometers per hour. 3600 divided by 116.8 = 30.82. To run 400 meters in 46.72 seconds, you would have to run the race at a speed of 30.82 kilometers per hour.

Therefore, you would have to run 400 meters at a speed greater than 30.82 kilometers per hour to have a time faster than 46.72 seconds.

Equation (X is speed in kilometers per hour) -

A) X > (3600 / (2.5 * 46.72))

B) X > (3600 / 116.8)

C) X > 30.82

I am a 6th grade runner and just broke a 5 40 mile. I am 11 years old and want to go pro, Ive been told that i will get scholarship to UVA and Princeton. If you want to become a pro runner you have to join a local track team either through school or recreation department. You also have to put all your other hobbies or sports aside to be great. But I run track and play tennis! It is your choice how far you want to go with this great sport! GOOD LUCK!!
