using three 2-barrel carbs, or triple duece as mechanics call it, can be done with a triple duece intake manifold. fairly easy but not really cheap. an entire setup with new intake manifold and three new two barrel carburetors can be cought for about $3200, very pricy. if using a used setup, it will take alot of time and patience to tune all three carbs.

but in short, yes it can be done

i heard it could be numerous of things. it could be a fuel pump going out, it could be the ground wire to one the fuel pumps could be disconnected, or even a vacuum hose could have a leave in it

Turn the ignition key to ON. Don't start engine. Press accelerator pedal to floor 3 times. Turn ignition off. Must do this within 5 seconds. Job done.

the block heater should be on the passenger side of the motor. it uses the first freeze plug hole located in between number 1 and 3 piston. now if ur looking for the plug its self it is located on the passenger side right beside the over flow container for the radiator. hope that helps. oh and so ur not confused1357 pistons are on passenger side and 2468 are on drivers side.

There are four ways to find a ratio.

1 A dealer can normally tell from the vin number.

2 There are normally tags or labels on the axle that have part number, gear ratio, and fluid requirement

3 You can count how many times you have to turn the driveshaft to get one complete turn of the tires.

4 You can divide the number of teeth on the ring gear and divide by number of teeth on the pinion.

this could happen if your timing is way off (way to advanced) or your timing chain could have jumped a tooth or its just really stretched out and in need of a new one, could also be from your valves not being adjusted correctly. most likely a timing issue though, i'd check that first before ripping it appart to check more severe problems

P0300 Diagnostic Code - Random Misfire

Symptoms.
Engine may stumble or miss
Engine may be hard to start
you may notice no issues

Cause
Failing spark plugs or spark plug wires
Bad coil or coil pack
Failing oxygen sensor(s)
Bad fuel injector or more than one
Stuck exhaust valve
Bad catalytic converter
EGR valve or valve passage clogging
Bad camshaft position sensor
Bad PCM or ECM

The Fix
Best first action is a tune up, new plugs, wires, inspect all hoses and wire connections then reset the code. If it returns you will need to narrow it down to a system, coils and coil packs should be tested, catalytic converters for function ( do you smell rotten eggs?). A misfire that jumps cylinders could indicate a lean condition, do you have any other codes along with the 300? this will help clue you in to the source, check valve function to make sure they are opening and closing fully.
This is probably pone of the most difficult codes to troubleshoot, so start with the basics and work your way into the more expensive options, in many cases a good old tune up solves the problem, back it up with a fuel system cleaning and see where you stand.

It depends upon the aspiration. The dual carb setup, (the fullhouse) made about 285. The F.I. model, was closer to 290. Single 4 barrel, about 260. and with a 2 barrel, I think around 225.

Its the brown wire from the distributor, goes to the fuses/relays on your firewall. unhook that and you will have your base timing.

your engine is seized man. start looking for a new engine.

A 402 is really a 396, bored .030 over, already. .120, is about all there is before you hit water, so, another .090. You can sleeve the block, and go further, however, at that point you would be better to with an aftermarket block.
