Did the 1970 Chevy C10 come with a 400 engine?

Most of the "400's" installed in 1970 Chevy pickups were actually big block 402's, but they called them 400's. They called the same engine in a 1970 Chevelle a 396. The 400 small block was primarily a low performance torque engine, used mostly in station wagons and full size cars.

Is there a Chevrolet 292 forged crank?

I believe the early 1963 and 1964 292 engines had forged cranks, but if I remember correctly, they only have 6 counterweights. Crankshafts after that were cast, but they had 12 counterweights to smooth them out. You still have to be careful on how much RPM you subject either crank to, but things like zero-balancing and fluid dampers give the engine a better chance for survival over 5K RPM.

Casting number sites on the internet can give you specific number and specific years.

How much to replace camshaft in Chevy pickup?

Depends on what the shop's hourly fee is. It won't be cheap in any circumstance.

The cam comes out the front of the engine. It is behind the timing gear, the timing chain cover, the water pump, all the accessories like alternator , ac compressor, power steering pump, the belt(s), the radiator, the ac condenser, and the trucks grille.

Then there's the top of the engine. the intake manifold, all the injection components, linkage, and everything covering the intake.

after all of that is off, you have to align bore the block, and then fit new bearings for the cam before you can install the new cam. Since you have a new cam, you need new lifters for that cam as well plus gaskets.

Now, you have to put it all back together. since you have it apart, a new timing chain, and gears would be smart (and possibly required by the shop) plus a new water pump and belt(s)

At the bare minimum you're looking at 10-15 hours shop time plus parts.
