Sanitizing involves reducing the number of microbes on a surface to a safe level, while sterilizing involves killing all microbes, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, on a surface. Sanitizing is typically used for general cleaning purposes, while sterilizing is necessary for medical equipment and food processing to prevent the spread of disease.

Blood stains are difficult to remove because blood contains proteins and hemoglobin that can cause the stain to set into the fabric as it dries. Additionally, using hot water to clean blood stains can cause the proteins to coagulate and bind to the fibers of the fabric, making removal even more challenging. Time is also a factor, as allowing the stain to set for long periods can make it more stubborn to remove.

Unfortunately, nail polish remover is mainly a solvent- acetone. Depending on the type of tile, it Is possible that nail polish remover has dissolved part of the tile. This cannot be undone, and that tile would have to be replaced.

I had the same experience with my friend and I, we were drawing on my wardrobe which was WOODEN!! My friend and I got in serious trouble, at first we tried putting Windex, but that didn't work. We then tried Nail Polish Remover but that also didn't work. I then remembered that the Almighty Eraser would work! And voila, it worked! At first we used small erasers but those kept splitting, so we used really big erasers and those worked. We finished the job in 15 minutes. It shows that the Almighty Eraser is a great invention!

Degreasers or solvents like ammonia, vinegar, or dish soap are effective at dissolving oily stains. These agents work by breaking down the oil molecules, making it easier to remove the stain. It is essential to spot-test these cleaning agents on a hidden area before applying them to the stain.

To remove spilled gas and its odor from a concrete floor, start by soaking up as much of the liquid as possible with absorbent materials like cat litter or sawdust. Then, scrub the area with a mixture of warm water and a degreasing cleaner. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow the area to dry completely. If the odor persists, you can try using a commercial odor neutralizer or baking soda to help absorb any remaining smells.

Caustic acid is not typically used to clean glass bottles as it can be too harsh and corrosive, potentially damaging the glass. It is safer to use milder cleaning agents specifically designed for glass, such as white vinegar or glass cleaners.

It depends on the type of stain. Lemon juice is better for removing certain types of stains, like rust and hard water stains, due to its citric acid content. Vinegar, on the other hand, is more effective for removing grease and soap scum stains because of its acetic acid content.

Actually there is wood that burns, like firewood. In campfires, or outdoor cooking, wood in the form of dead twigs are also used to sustain the fire. Anyway, for wood that does not burn, it is because of the water in the wood. Wood is hydrated, since trees and plants take water up through their roots and through the stem/trunk/branches to the leaves, which require water for photosynthesis. This hydration prevents wood from burning due to the heat capacity of water and the latent heat of evaporation of water. The heat energy relased by a flame used to try to ignite the wood would therefore first need to remove the water from the wood before it will combust.

Place a paper towel over the wax and apply a heated iron over it. The wax will melt and get absorbed by the paper towel. Repeat the process with a clean paper towel until the wax is completely removed. If any residue remains, apply a stain remover and wash the jeans as usual.

3 things come under cleaning fluid:

1. Solvent based fluid: include mineral spirits, GOO GONE® cleaning fluid, 91% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, denatured alcohol solvent, tri-chlor, electric motor cleaner, carburetor cleaning fluid, Hampton Hobby Products™ track cleaning fluid, etc.

2. Oil based fluid: include Wahl™ Clipper oil, 3-In-One™ oil, Rail Zip™, transmission oil, etc.

3. Water based fluid: include Fantastic™, Windex™, 409™ and products such as "Blue Liquid" track cleaner.

Inhaling chemicals from Airwick products is not a safe way to get high and can be harmful or fatal. It can lead to serious health issues, including damage to the brain, heart, lungs, and kidneys. It is important to always use products as intended and avoid any form of substance abuse.

There is no single "number 1" stain remover as effectiveness can vary depending on the type of stain and fabric. Some popular options include oxygen-based bleaches, enzyme-based cleaners, and products containing hydrogen peroxide or baking soda. It's best to choose a stain remover that is suitable for the specific type of stain you're dealing with.

One effective solvent for removing rust stains is white vinegar. Simply soak a cloth in vinegar and place it over the rust stain. Let it sit for a few hours before scrubbing the area with a brush or cloth. Repeat as needed until the rust stain is removed.

To conduct a science experiment comparing paper towels' absorbency, you can cut equal-sized pieces of different brands of paper towels and place them on a flat surface. Then, slowly pour water onto each piece of paper towel and measure how much water it can absorb before reaching saturation. The paper towel that absorbs the most water before reaching saturation can be considered the most absorbent.

A detergent bar is used to clean clothes and remove dirt and stains during the laundry process. It contains surfactants and other cleaning agents that help in breaking down and removing grease, grime, and dirt from fabrics. It is a convenient and cost-effective way to wash clothes by hand or in a washing machine.

If you are making a pen for tagging with, you could make a simple ink that will stain surfaces and become what we would call "Unbuffable."

First, you basically get a paint that you want to use as the colour of the ink, make sure the paint is not acryllic. I would just choose a basic colour if this is your first time making an ink.

Secondly, get some paint thinner and get your paint, mix the two till it is half paint half thinner.

The reason we want the ink to be thin is so that it can seep through the nib of our pen.

Now we add the item to our mix that will make the tag unbuffable, we use a basic oil such as fish oil and add that to our recipe so that it is a 2/3 paint and thinner and 1/3 oil.

God knows how this works, but I've been making pens for a good couple of years now and this is probably my favourite but most basic pen.

Another Chemical you can add to your inks is acetone. It beats the buff six times over but be careful when using it because it may burn your skin.

To make alcohol based ink you will need...

1. around 30-50 biros

2. alcohol base(this can range from 70% rubbing alcohol to pure ethanol)

3. nail pollish remover or acetone (optional)

4. fish oil capsules (optional, try to get odourless ones because they made my ink smell like fish(( can be replaced by WD-40 or RP-7, i find they smell a little bit better than fish oil!))

5. a large plastic bottle to mix the ink in

-method-

1. pour enough alcohol into your bottle to half-fill it

2. extract the ink tubes from the biros an put them in the bottle.(you should see all the alcohol changing to whatever colour the ink is in the biros

3. add you choice of stainers( i would use mostly acetone and fish oil capsules)

4. put the cap on and shake it up so it all mixes together.

5. wait maybe 30 minutes for the ink to draw from the pens

6. WREAK HAVOK ON YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD!, muah ha ha!

Unfortunately, once bleach has caused a stain on shoes, it is difficult to remove it completely. You can try to cover up the stain with a marker or paint that matches the color of the shoe, but it may not completely erase the bleach stain. It's always a good idea to test any cleaning solution in a hidden area of the shoe first to ensure it doesn't cause further damage.

Vinegar (acetic acid - C2H4O2), nail polish remover (acetone - C3H6O) and sugar (sucrose C12H22O11) all consist of the elements carbon, hydrogen and oxygen chemically bonded in different proportions.

Dry erase marker on a smart board?

This is why I don't like to see white boards next to smart boards. The white board markers are very easy to confuse with the non marking smart board markers.

Use a wet rag to remove the dry erase marker from your smart board and then, paint the dry erase markers a neon orange so that they can be easily identified.

For those of you who may not know what a smart board is, it is a screen that uses a projection generated by a pc to see an overhead display. It has a rougher surface than a dry erase board so special markers are supplied with the board that will only be visible on the smart board.

To remove silly putty from carpet, you can place ice in a plastic bag on top of the silly putty to harden it. Then, carefully scrape off the hardened putty with a dull knife or spoon. Any residue can be treated with a mixture of dish soap and warm water, followed by blotting with a clean cloth.
