The different mouth-parts seen in different insect species are the result of evolutionary adaptations. Mouth-parts have adapted to fit each species' diet. For example, a grasshopper's diet requires them to have a mandible for chewing instead of a proboscis for sucking.

Milkweed bugs have oblong bodies that are black and orange-red in color. As its name implies, it feeds on milkweed plants. The adult milkweed bug has the ability to fly.

The feeding methods of insects are usually by plants such as flowers or by warm-blood animals such as birds and mammals. Either of the insects is able to use a sucking tube to suck out nectar from plants or pierce through the skin to suck blood from animals.

People that plant things change their environment. Plants provide oxygen and take in carbon dioxide. The more you plant, the more oxygen you aid in putting into their air and the more carbon dioxide you aid in removing from the air.

People that build damns try to control a water source. Check out the Mississippi flooding zones. People put up their levies and damns. This changes the natual flood path. But, the flood path gets narrower and higher. This will impact the water draining from the northern areas, especially after a major rainfall.

How about toxic chemicals produced that have a long shelf life that somehow seep into the ground or water sources? That is bound to have an effect. There are facilities that store nuclear waste. This has to been maintained by human beings. If they aren't doing their jobs properly, things can happen.

Think about when you are driving through different towns. Notice all of the litter and debris. People that aren't responsible and pick up after themselves just toss things outside... if no one picks it up, it stays there. If it's biodegradable .. okay. Good, I suppose.

And when mother nature and mankind work together to wreak havoc... let's say a tornado passes through a pretty big town. And no clean-up crews or anyone pick up things.... all those houses and businesses have cleaning supplies, automotive chemicals, etc. One house may be no big thing. But, every place a tornado demolishes will probably have those things. A lot of those things are harmful if not fatal to humans. Can't be that good for plants or animals, either.

Also.. there are people that don't take antibiotics right - as well as a few other things. They aid in creating these superbugs that are resistant to antibiotics. Well... those nasty bugs are bound to do some nasty things to people... possibly even animals. People are part of the environment. I don't care who you ask. Animals consume however many insects and plants in their lifetime. Specific animals go after specific things. So, something bad enough could affect the balance between the current human, animal, plant, insect, arachnid, fungus popluations.

In no way is this list complete or 100% scientificly correct. This is what makes sense to me. People affect their environment in a lot of ways. Good and bad. I hope this info helps steer you towards the proper answers you need.
