A green beryl is an emerald.
Emerald does not contain copper. It, like ruby, is coloured by chromium. In some cases, emerald (mainly from Zambia) has vanadium as a colouring agent as well. Green beryl does not have any other specific name unless it can be classified as emerald. The emerald and the ruby are only separated by the copper in the emerald and the chromium in the ruby.
