A cobra and a mongoose are not particularly similar as animals go; a cobra is a reptile and a mongoose is a mammal, however, they, like other vertebrates, do have some things in common. They both have a spine, eyes, teeth, brains, and the usual internal organs, although a cobra has only one lung, as compared to a mongoose which has two. Both have skin, although the cobra has scaly skin and the mongoose has furry skin.

How do you raise the handlebars on a mongoose 2.1 bike?
The Kruiser has a dead-ordinary quill stem. Loosen the center bolt(the one pointingstraight down the fork) a few turns, then give it a tap with a hammer or a mallet. That should disengage the wedge at the bottom of the stem, and with a bit of wiggling the stem should pull right up.
Take care not to raise the stem too high, or it might come out unintentionally. There should be a minimum insertion mark inscribed on the stem, ant that mark must remain hidden under the fork's locknut.
What is the defense weapon for a mongoose?
The primary defence of a mongoose is it's ability to fluff up its' fur so if a snake strikes, it only gets a mouthful of fur, and also its' super fast reflexes. Snakes and other reptiles make up a large proportion of it's diet along with other small mammals and insects.
Some say its' reflexes are up to 4 times faster than a house fly.
Its' teeth and claws are primarily for attacking it's prey and used occassionally in some territorial fights and courtship, otherwise they are used only in defence if handled or cornered.
Why would the mongoose be in trouble in a battle with a rattlesnake?
The mongoose typically has three serrated claws that would slash at the predator normally. The rattlesnake's tough skin reduces the strength of the blow, preventing these claws from penetrating the inner sanctum of the rattlesnake's oral pectum. The rattlesnake could retaliate by using his poisonous fangs and the spotted rattlesnake venom could kill a mongoose with 0.246 of a drop.

MONGOOSE EATERS Large birds can catch young or small-sized mongooses. But what eats the larger ones? Jackals and other wild dogs will try to eat them, and they're sometimes attacked by wild cats. But a mongoose under attack can zip away so fast that the bigger mammal usually doesn't stand a chance. And any mammal that corners a mongoose may be in for trouble. The tough little fighter jumps up and tries to bite the enemy's face.
