How does the snake venom come down to the teeth?
Snake venom is stored in small 'sacs' in the jaw. They are joined to the fang by a short tube. The fangs themselves have a hole running the length of the tooth. When a snake bites its prey, the muscles in the jaw squeeze the sacs, which delivers a dose of venom out of the tips of the hollow fangs.
Do snakes have scales on their eyes?
No snakes have eyelids as such. They have a clear membrane over the eyeball called the 'Brille' - it is discarded each time the snake sheds, and a new one is formed with the new skin. See related link for a better description.

What temperature do you need to incubate snake eggs?
listen and read these instruction carefully
Female Corn Snakes will lay between 10 and 20 eggs, which will need to be incubated for between 55 and 65 days (7 to 9 weeks). Try to keep the eggs at a constant temperature of 26-29°C (79-85°F). Vermiculite is a good substrate to have inside the incubator as it will help keep the humidity levels correct.
If incubation is successful the hatchlings should break out of their eggs using an egg tooth. They will remain in the eggs to soak up the york for a few days before venturing out of the shell. You should watch them closely at this stage, but not force them to leave the egg before they are ready.
Once they are out of the egg, the hatchlings will all need to be housed separately. Small sandwich box type RUBS (Really Useful Boxes) are good for housing your hatchlings at this stage.
Hatchlings will require their first feed after their first shed, which should occur around a week after they hatch. If the hatchling is reluctant to eat it's first pinky, try braining the pinky to encourage them to take it. If you are planning to sell on your hatchlings, it is important to ensure that the hatchlings are readily accepting food and are healthy before selling them.

When did snakes appear on earth?
Crocodiles are descended from a group of reptiles called archosaurs. This group branched into crocodilians and dinosaurs, among others, and also are the ancestors of modern-day birds.
Crocodilians were one of the earlier groups to branch off, possibly even appearing before dinosaurs.
How are the mouths on Burmese pythons adapted to finding prey and swallowing large prey?
The mouth of a snake is expertly suited to swallowing large prey because...
The upper jaw consists of six pieces connected by ligaments and muscle - the lower jaw is in two pieces again connected by ligaments and muscle. This allows the snakes jaws to stretch to accommodate large prey.
Shelter is required by all living organisms.
Many rodents store food in their underground burrows so that they can eat while the weather is inclement (bad). They can hide from predators, too.
Many snakes are picked up and eaten by raptors while dozing atop warming stones. So they also go underground to escape from predators.
Do baby king cobras have venom?

What is the snake's scientific classification?
Snakes are classified as follows:
KINGDOM: Animalia
PHYLUM: Chordata
CLASS: Reptilia
ORDER: Squamata
SUBORDER: Serpentes
FAMILY: Over 15 families
GENUS SPECIES: Over 3,000 species
The Green Anaconda, on average anacondas are more then 20 ft (6.09 m) long with and average weight of 300+ pounds (136.08+ kg) many reaching lengths of 29ft ( 8.83 m) or more, with a weight of over 550 lbs ( 249.48 kg), as far as the longest there is some speculation and a lot of sensationalizing with the answer to this question, many authorities agree between 30 ft. (9.14 m) to 33 ft. (10.05 m) is the longest, with some saying 37 ft. (11.27 m), any length above these still lack acceptable documentation and they're claims are dubious at best.

The question what is the biggest snake can be confusing, the biggest as far as girth (largest being measured at 44 inches or 1,1176 m) is the Green Anaconda, on average anacondas are more then 20 ft (6.09 m) long with and average weight of 300+ pounds (136.08+ kg) many reaching lengths of 29ft ( 8.83 m) or more, with a weight of over 550 lbs ( 249.48 kg), in terms of length then and only then will the Reticulated Python exceed the anaconda, the longest python was measured at 33 ft ( 10.05 m) but even this python can't match the total mass of the anaconda.
Anacondas are members of the Boidae family of reptiles and spend most of their time in rivers and swamps of the Amazon Rainforest in South America which makes them excellent swimmers and are capable of holding their breath for around 15 minutes, female anacondas are generally 3 to 4 times larger then the males and bear their young live and are called "Neonates", the number of young varies, some have produced 100 babies, but the average is between 20 to 40 babies which are about 24 inches (0.6 m) long, they stay with the mother for about and hour then leave to be on their own. Diet consist of (depending on the size of the anaconda, the larger the snake the larger the prey) large/small rodents like capybaras, also pigs, caiman, jaguars, deer, dogs, birds even fish and is acquired by ambushing with a quick strike, 100 rear-facing sharp teethhold the prey while suffocating it with constriction, (the anaconda is so powerful it generally crushes it's prey) then swallowing it whole and by using it's muscles in a rhythmic fashion it works the food toward its digestive area, the digestion of the anaconda is very slow thereby allowing it to survive without food for well over a year.
Anacondas have around a 10 to 12 year year life span in the wild, in captivity some have reached 20 + years, the biggest threat to it is man and loss of their habitat.

How does the snakes tongue help it to survive?
Snakes don't have a very good sense of smell through their noses, the tongue has a sensor in it that the snake can "sense" danger, food, water and more things they need to survive. Without the tongue the snake wouldn't last too long
Considering they don't hae ears, theyare sensitive to ground movement lige: Stomping, Jumping etc. And colder temperatures.
