All snakes are carnivores, King Snakes and Milk Snakes are also cannibals and will kill and eat most other snakes so it is best to keep one per enclosure. Captive King's can be maintained on a diet of mice and when/if large enough appropiately sized rats. In the wild hatchlings usually start off eating lizards or frogs and progress to rodents and depending on the area Rattlesnakes and Coral Snakes. You can take a small sample of your dog's feces in to your Veterinarian to have it tested/checked for internal parasites. You also may see actual worms in your dog's feces. Long thin worms that look like spaghetti are Round Worms and tapeworms look like little grains of rice. There are many more internal parasites that you cannot see, that is why it is best to have your Veterinarian check things out by testing a small sample of your dog's feces. Do copperhead snakes have rattles?

There are 4 species of snakes referred to as "copperheads" but since the question was about having rattles, we may assume the person posing the question was referring to the Agkistrodon contortrix which shares its range with several types of rattlesnakes.

Although both copperheads and rattlesnakes are in the Family Viperidae and the Sub-family Crotilinae, the copperhead is from the genus Agkistrodon whereas rattlesnakes are all from the genus Croatalus. Only rattlesnakes (Croatalus) have rattles (or rattlers for that matter).

By the way, with respect to the other 3 "copperheads":

The Australian Copperhead isn't even the same family (Elapidae)

The Chinese Copperhead is the same sub-family, but is from the genus Deinagkistrodon.

The Elaphe radiata, or copperhead rat snake is a non-venomous species found in southern Asia which is from a different family too (Colubridae).

... and as already stated - since they are not rattlesnakes, they don't have rattles either.
