Why did the Ukraine famine occur?

The Ukraine GENOCIDE (also known as the Holodomor), not famine, occurred for no reason. Stalin and his communist regime wanted to wipe out the Ukrainian race; they viewed Ukrainians as Russians who don't know anything, don't contribute anything to society, and try to break free of their "Great" Russian heritage with revolution/revolt (i.e. Ukrainian People's Republic, which lasted from approx. 1917 to 1921).

They viewed them as a pest (though, none of what they thought about Ukrainians is true ; this is what these Russians basically thought, however). Since Stalin and Co. were against nationalistic tendencies (unlike Ukrainians), he exterminated approx.10 million Ukrainians, by shipping the grain (Ukraine's biggest export) out of the country and either dumping it into the Black Sea or selling it to the Russian people/surrounding countries.

This wasn't an accident or just a coincidence that millions died. it wasn't a result of drought or a bad harvest. It was Stalinist Russia's attempt to eliminate Ukrainian nationalism and the Ukrainian people they dislike; they didn't want any threats to the "Great Russian nation" and their "superior breed of people and culture" and so on and so forth.
