Fred is the only son of Scrooge's sister Fran, and his only living relative. Fred makes it clear in "A Christmas Carol" that he wants nothing of his uncle, except for his acceptance of an invitation to dinner. Fred knows that Scrooge is his own worst enemy and renews the invitation every year at Christmas. One of Scrooge's greatest acts of contrition and redemption is to finally accept his nephew's invitation, and make peace with Fred's wife.

In the living world, Ebenezer Scrooge's equally greedy partner. Marley died seven years before the narrative opens. He appears to Scrooge as a ghost condemned to wander the world bound in heavy chains. Marley hopes to save his old partner from suffering a similar fate.

This reaction suggests that Scrooge is capable of change and growth, as he shows remorse and a willingness to become a better person. It indicates that he has the capacity for empathy and redemption, despite his previous behaviors.

SCrooge didnt need to , the ghost pointed out that the cost of the party they witnessed would have cost but a few pounds in that and yet brought so much love and wellbeing to all. Scrooge agrees

He thinks he has slept through 24 hours and cannot quite make out what day he actually is in. Eventually he looks out of the window to see that its still night and he remembers he is awaiting the first visitation

Dora is not a character in "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. The main characters in the story are Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and the three Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come.

Bob was its assumedn been average height (about 5ft 5 for men of the day) he woudl have been thin as he was very poor and with six children and only 15 shilllings to live on he would have had to make every penny cound. His clothes would have been very,very well wron if not 4th or 5th hand me downs. He may have looked unwell due to the poor diet and living conditions

The head of the ghost of Christmas past carried a candle extinguisher. His head bore a flame which he explains is to help Scrooge see into the dark areas of his past. Scrooge becomes emotional and does not want to show his feelings so attempts to use the hat to put out the light so stopping visions of his pasted being seen.

Scrooge's lip was trembling because he was overwhelmed with emotion and feelings of guilt during his transformation process in "A Christmas Carol." The realization of his past behavior and its impact on others caused him to feel deep remorse and sorrow.

At the beginning of the story, Ebenezer Scrooge is portrayed as a mean, stingy, and selfish old man who places more value on money than on people. He shows no compassion for those in need, refuses to donate to charity, and lacks any Christmas spirit. Scrooge is depicted as cold-hearted and indifferent to the suffering of others.

Mrs. Dilber remarks that Scrooge was a miserly and cold-hearted man who showed little compassion for others. She criticizes his lack of generosity and kindness towards his fellow humans.

On Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by a four ghosts, starting with his old business partner, Jacob Marley. The three spirits which follow, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet to Come, show Scrooge how his mean behaviour has affected those around him. At the end of the story he is relieved to discover that there is still time for him to change and we see him transformed into a generous and kind-hearted human being.
