How many years after Adam and Eve were created was Jesus born?
The Bible doesn't specify how many years passed between the creation of Adam and Eve and the birth of Jesus Christ [d. around A.D. 30]. But James Us[s]her [January 4, 1581-March 21, 1656] after examining the Biblical genealogical record placed the date of the Creation on the night before October 23, 4004 B.C. According to modern thought, Jesus of Nazareth was born sometime between 7 and 4 B.C. So that would put about 4,000 years between the lifetimes of Adam and Eve, and the existence of Jesus Christ.
Additional Comments:
The Bible clearly says that God took 6 days, 6 evenings and 6 mornings, see (Genesis 1:2) for His creative process. Therefore, Usher's date must be close. There are many scientists who do advocate for a young earth today (see Creation Research Institute or Answers in Genesis for further information). It has only been in recent history that the scientific community has been advocating for the creation of the earth to be billions of years.
Another Comment:
Matthew 1:17 has the answer and it reads 42 generations from Christ to Adam which should help (most consider a generation to be between 25-100 years).
The Biblical answer is Christ was born in the flesh in the middle of the 2nd week.
There are two weeks to complete this 2nd of 3 reiterations of earth (2nd Peter chapter 3)
Each day of the two weeks of this earth age are 1000 man years in length (2nd Peter ch 3).
Christ walked this earth in the flesh 4000 years (4 days) after Adam was formed as the man to till the soil (Genesis 2) from 6th day creation.
You are now on the 6th day of the 2nd week.
Christ will reign for one day (1000 years) to complete the 7th day (Revelation 20), of the 2nd week.
Then comes judgment according to your works (Revelation 20)
Are Adam and Eve's grandchildren inbred?
If you believe in the Torah, then you would believe that Adam and Eve are ancestors of all people now living. However, they cannot be the great great great grandparents of anyone now living because that term refers to a couple five generations before you in your ancestry. Even the oldest person now living can't have great great great grandparents who lived before the year 1700 CE, and Adam and Eve died over 4750 years ago.
They're more like your (great) x (1000) grandparents. At least!
Who besides Eve did Adam blame for his eating of the forbidden fruit?
According to the Bible, it was because Eve was the one that was tempted by Satan, the serpent, and ate the fruit. After doing this, she gave some to her husband Adam, which also made him sin also. So Adam blamed Eve because even though he sinned, he didn't want to be recognized, so he blamed the origin of his sin, where Eve's origin of sin was Satan.
Is there a story of Adam and Eve in the Koran?
The Koran is not a sequential narrative in the way that the Hebrew Bible is, and does not have a direct copy of the creation account from Genesis. However, the Koran clearly accepts the biblical story of the creation and lives of Adam and Eve, as well as adding Islamic traditions.
When God created Adam from clay, the Devil refused to prostrate himself before Adam, as commanded by God, whereupon he was expelled from Eden. The Koran says that Adam erected the Kaaba on earth but this was destroyed during the Flood and Abraham was instructed to rebuild it, assisted by Ishmail. Unlike the Old Testament, the Koran does not blame Eve for taking the forbidden fruit:
Sura 007.019-020: "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and enjoy (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression." Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever."
How did Adam and Eve know how to speak yet cavemen had no spoken words?
Adam and Eve would not have spoken English. The oldest English that is somewhat understandable by a person today is Middle English, which was the language used by Chaucer in the famous Canterbury Tales. This book was written over a period of time between 1380 and 1400 AD. Modern English is thought to have began in about 1550 AD.
Adam and Eve on the other hand were created 6009 years ago (4000 BC). This would mean that Adam and Eve were born aproximately 5400 years before Middle English, or 5550 years before "The Great Vowel Shift" in England which took place in 1550 AD and began Modern English.
My guess would be that they spoke Hebrew. Here is how I come to that conclusion:
We're not sure who wrote the book of Genesis. Some say it was Moses, some say it may have been Adam himself. Either way both of these men spoke Hebrew. The language that god would have given Adam would have been Hebrew, and the language that the bible was written in originaly was Hebrew.
This may seem strange to think that characters from Christian bibles spoke Hebrew, but remember, the Torah is the first 5 books of the old testement, and in fact there was no religion of Christianity during the time of Moses and Adam, as Christianity did not begin until the time of Christ.
Here's a real mind blower for you - By my earlier logic, its possible that Adam and Eve spoke Arabic too, as they are also part of the Qur'an! By that logic, the Qur'an was told to the prophet Mohammed by Allah in the language of Arabic, and musulms probably believe that Adam and Eve spoke Arabic!
How did Moses find out about Adam and Eve?
Were Adam and Eve forbidden to eat the tree of life before the fall?
After Adam had eaten of the Tree of Knowledge, he then knew that one day he would die. He also knew that the fruit of the Tree of Life would give him immortality. God drove Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden and placed cherubim and a flaming sword at the entrance to keep or block the path to the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:24). It was no longer enough to forbid Adam and Eve to eat from the Tree of Life: they had to be forcibly prevented from doing so.
How are men punished from Adam and Eve sin?
A simplistic reading of the Book of Genesis suggests that Adam was punished by being banished from the Garden of Eden and forced to work and grow his food. However, some scholars say that Adam was not punished for eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge, but that what followed was a necessary outcome.
After Adam and Eve had eaten of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil they became like gods (Genesis 3:22: "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us..."), except that they were still mortal. They now knew that by eating of the Tree of Life, they would then also be immortal, just like the gods.
God told Eve what she now already knew: that she would bear children in pain. And he told Adam what he now already knew: that he would one day die. Certainly God was angry, and cursed the ground. But it was so that they would not also eat of the Tree of Life, that he had no choice but to banish them and place cherubim and a flaming sword at the entrance of the Garden of Eden, to keep [block] the way to the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:24). Without the idyllic existence offered in the Garden of Eden, Adam would have to work all his days, to provide food.
Gen 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
The book of Genesis didn't go into detail about how Adam and Eve looked. But it was the creation story of the Hebrew people. Navels have been an expected part of human anatomy. So yes, Adam's and Eve's children undoubtedly had navels, as part of their fetal feeding and subsequent delivery.
But Adam and Eve may or may not have had navels. It comes down to the mind of God. Did God want the world's first couple and the world's first children to resemble each other? Or did God want Adam and Eve to bear the proof of their spontaneous creation?
What is the name of the leaf that Adam and Eve used for clothing?
fig leaves was used by Adam and eve as clothing when they discovered they were naked
Why did the devil want Adam and eve not to be happy?
Satan was jealous of Adam because, after he was cast down to earth, he had no place to settle, no responsibility, no job. Adam was created in Gods image, loved by God, blessed by God, and God gave him power to rule over the earth, Satan thought Adam was going to rule over him, so he must do something fast to destroy that power of Adam and the beautiful relationship between Adam and God, so tempted them and unfortunately succeeded.
Who told eve to eat the fruit from the apple tree?
No one made him eat the fruit. There was no gun to his head; no spear aimed at his heart.
The Bible account relates that his wife Eve, 'offered' it to him, and he ate. If Adam were a real man, he would have wrapped his arm around his dear wife and said: "Oh my goodness dear, what have you done? No, No; now I have to go to Jehovah in your behalf".
Did Adam also named all the aquatic animals how?
I Would Think That The Answer Is No. Only a Few Kinds Of Animals Live In The Ocean. But you will find many answers to questions like this.
How does Victor story parallell with the story of Adam and eve?
Both Victor and Eve were punished for their attempts to be godlike.
What rib did God take from Adam to create woman?
During the middle Ages, when the Church insisted on absolute faith in the Bible over scientific inquiry, it was commonly believed that men had one less rib than women. Few surgeons would dare to check, and if they did, they would have kept quiet about it. Now of course, we know that men and women have the same number of ribs.
The Bible does not say what colour Adam and Eve were, although the ancient Hebrews probably thought of them as brown skinned like themselves. Scientists say the earliest humans came from Africa and had black skin.
Who did God speak to in an audible voice?
Samuel. See reference below.
1And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision. 2And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; 3And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; 4That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I. 5And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down. 6And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again. 7Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him. 8And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child. 9Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. 10And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth. 11And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle. 12In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end. 13For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not. 14And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever. Exodus 33:11 And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend....... Paul on the Damascus road.
4And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. 7And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
Also everyone to whom Jesus spoke while on earth.

When did Adam and Eve first sin?
he wasnt, there is loads of flaws in the bible and that is one of them, if the beginning started with Adam and eve then by now we'd have a hell of alot of inbred diseases. Most science has proved that the first humans evolved around the same time, so there is no knoledge of who came first and even if they had names....
Who was the first person alive Adam or Eve?
ADAM
Adam-eve was made from adam Adam was first created by God from the dust of the earth, after seeing Adam was lonely, after naming all the creature of the earth, air and water, God created Eve from Adam's rib. Adam and Eve. They were created at the same time.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Why did God give us original sin?
Over the centuries, original sin has been one of the principal justifications for infant baptism, since those who have been baptised were said to be free of original sin and thus able to enter heaven if they are not guilty of unrepented mortal sins.
Cardinal George Pell recently stated that the story of Adam and Eve is a myth, describing it as a religious story told for religious purposes. Without their existence, it will be hard to sustain the belief that Christians are born with original sin as a consequence of the sin of Adam and Eve, or that without baptism all are condemned to hell. It is too early to predict that the Church will soon abandon the doctrine of original sin, yet Adam and Eve can no longer be blamed for original sin that Christian tradition said that we all bear.
How many descendants did God promise Adam and Eve?
1) In Genesis ch.15, the Covenant Between the Parts, God promised the land of Canaan (Israel) to Abraham's descendants. 2) In Genesis ch.13, 17 and 22, God promised Abraham that he would have a multitude of descendants.
3) In Genesis 18:19, God alluded that Abraham's teachings would never go lost from his descendants.

The serpent may have tempted Eve instead of Adam, because it was thought at the time of the creation of the story that women are easier to convince and are thus more gullible. Another reason could be that Adam and the other creatures in the Garden did not trust the Serpent, and Eve did not know whether to believe others in the Garden, or to make her own assumptions.
